I'm a Boston-based software engineer with a background in acting and the restaurant industry. My work experience has always centered around people, their needs, their wants, and their hearts. So I approach all my work the way I know best, with a hospitality-driven mindset. There is nothing more fascinating than human nature and using technology to help me and you "amplify the ability to use our hearts."
In the restaurant industry, you're in the business of giving. Anticipating needs, creating indulgence, and fulfilling happiness became second nature to me. I thought, what if I can do this on a larger scale? What if I can give on my own terms, and do it sustainably without the physical wears and tears of restaurant hours?
Computer programming, when it comes down to it, is about people, about the human experience. In September 2019, I joined General Assembly's Software Engineering Immersive because I wanted to contribute to that experience. Programming offers so much flexibility and creativity on how I can achieve that. I can help solve problems one application at a time to make the human experience more seamless, more efficient, and in my ideal world, more thoughtful.
